Cosanpa reopens negotiation campaign with discounts for users across Pará

The initiative 'Conta com a Cosanpa' offers up to 90% discounts on debts and aims to prevent users from being negatively impacted.

The Sanitation Company of Pará (Cosanpa) resumes, this Monday (3), the campaign “Conta com a Cosanpa”

The Sanitation Company of Pará (Cosanpa) reopens, this Monday (3), the campaign “Conta com a Cosanpa”, with special conditions for users to regularize their debts and avoid negative listings. The initiative will serve consumers throughout the Pará territory, with specific rules for the regions where the operation has already been transferred to the concessionaire Águas do Pará and for the 49 municipalities where Cosanpa still operates directly.

In the municipalities of the Metropolitan Region – Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba – users will be able to negotiate debts related to consumption until August 2025, a period when Cosanpa was still responsible for the operation of services. In other municipalities served by the Company, any outstanding debt can be negotiated during the Campaign period, under the same facilitated conditions.

The campaign offers discounts that can reach up to 90% off the original bill, 40% for upfront payments, in addition to waiving interest, fines, and monetary correction. To enhance service, Cosanpa teams will be mobilized in the municipalities of Marabá and Capanema, with intensified actions until November 17 and 14, respectively.

In Vigia, teams will be present from November 17 to 28. In these locations, Company agents will deliver collection letters and will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on negotiation methods.

In Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba, in-person service is concentrated at the Cosanpa store in the São Brás neighborhood. In other municipalities, consumers can visit any service store of the Company or negotiate through the service channels.

“We understand that unforeseen events happen and that, many times, the delay in payment is not due to a lack of willingness. Therefore, Cosanpa is opening this new phase of the campaign so that each user has the chance to negotiate their bills in a facilitated manner, with significant discounts, without bureaucracy and without the risk of being negatively impacted. It is an opportunity to start the year with organized accounts,” emphasized Cosanpa's market and financial director, Vitor Borges.
