The Green Zone, in the City Park, is the space for civil society, public and private institutions, and global leaders to connect dialogue, innovation, and sustainable investment

The State Secretariat for Environment, Climate, and Sustainability (Semas) announced the results of the selection of events that will make up the official program of Pavilion Pará, in the Green Zone of COP30. A total of 342 events were selected. The chosen proposals stood out for their technical quality, thematic relevance, and contribution to environmental policies. According to the organizing committee, the selection prioritized initiatives that stimulate the debate on sustainability, environmental education, and participatory management, involving different sectors of society.

The complete program, with days, times, and rooms for the activities, will be announced on November 1st, on Semas' official channels.

The Secretary of Environment, Climate, and Sustainability of the State, Raul Protázio Romão, highlighted the importance of societal engagement in building environmental actions.

“The number and quality of the submitted proposals show how much the environmental agenda has mobilized different segments. Our goal is to value these initiatives and expand the spaces for dialogue and exchange of experiences,” said the secretary.

With a daily program, Pavilion Pará aims to bring together different sectors of society – local and subnational governments, the private sector, non-governmental organizations, indigenous peoples, quilombolas, traditional communities, youth, academia, and civil society in general – around the debate on concrete solutions to face the climate crisis, the valorization of standing forests, and the promotion of inclusive and sustainable development models.
