Civil Police continues services of the 'Operation Piracema' in Marabá, Almeirim, and Óbidos
The action issues, free of charge, the new National Identity Card for fishermen. Fishermen from Itupiranga will be served from October 27 to 29
The Civil Police of Pará continues the services for issuing the new National Identity Card (CIN) for fishermen in the municipalities of Marabá, Almeirim, and Óbidos. The civic-social action takes place free of charge and simultaneously in the three cities.
To serve the public in Marabá, employees linked to the Directorate of Service and Identification (DIDEM) were mobilized, working with 10 kits to reach the daily goal of 300 cards issued. "It is important that the fishermen of Marabá mobilize to come to the Usina da Paz in the municipality for the issuance of the document, which is done free of charge and is essential for workers to apply for the defeso insurance benefit," highlighted Delegate Hennison Jacob, head of the Interior Police Directorate (DPI).
The Operation Piracema was launched to demonstrate the State Government's commitment to bringing citizenship. The new CIN will ensure more security for identification documents and facilitate access to the defeso insurance, which is so important for the subsistence of fishermen's families.
In Marabá, the services started on October 19 and will take place until the 26th. In Almeirim, the action started on the 20th and will continue until next Saturday, the 25th. In Óbidos, the services began on the 21st and will end next Sunday, October 26.
The schedule for the other cities that will receive Operation Piracema is already defined. "Fishermen from Itupiranga will be served from October 27 to 29. In the municipality of Prainha, the action will take place from October 27 to November 1, at the Pretextato Da Costa Alvarenga Municipal School. In Curuá, fishermen will be served from October 28 to November 2 at the 'Helena Chaves' Youth Qualification Center. In Jacundá, the services will be held at the Praça Céu Auditorium from October 31 to November 4, always from 8 am to 5 pm," continued the delegate.
The new National Identity Card represents a technological advancement. In addition to the physical version, the document will also be available in digital format through the gov.br app, similar to the Digital CNH, which ensures greater practicality and combats fraud.
Fisherman Orlando Mendes was able to complete the service without facing queues and praised the police's performance. "I learned about the operation through a colleague from the community and took the opportunity to come here to secure the document, which is necessary for me to apply for the defeso insurance. Without it, I would not have access to the benefit that is very important for my professional category. I am very happy to get my document quickly and was very well attended by the staff. The Civil Police of Pará deserves congratulations for the operation," said the fisherman.
The operation takes place in several municipalities in Pará, covering various regions of the State and is itinerant, extending throughout Pará.
