Sefa maintains strategic units throughout the state territory to curb tax illegalities

State tax inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa) of the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Araguaia, southeast region of the state, seized 136,000 kg of soybeans, valued at R$ 275,150.00. The goods left Santana do Araguaia-PA destined for Campinas-SP. The seizure occurred on Sunday (19) at the Barreira do Campo tax post on highway PA-441, km 38, in Santana do Araguaia.

“During the inspection of the tax documents, it was found that the advance ICMS tax on the goods had not been collected upon leaving the state. Three Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs) were issued, totaling R$46,057.34, charging ICMS and fines,” said coordinator Renato Couto.

Wine beer - State tax inspectors from the State Department of Finance of Pará (Sefa) stationed at the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Carajás, southeast of the state, also seized on Sunday (19) 40,680 bottles of wine beer, 660 ml each, valued at R$ 227,639.99.

“During an inspection at the Jarbas Passarinho tax post, at km 120 of the Transamazon Highway, a truck transporting goods from the municipality of Pinheiro Preto/SC, destined for the State of Amazonas/AM, was stopped. The load consisted of alcoholic beverages. After analyzing the presented documents and consulting the electronic invoice control systems, it was found that the recipient company in the State of Amazonas had its state registration suspended, which prevents it from purchasing goods and jeopardizes the regularity of the operation,” explained coordinator Cicinato Oliveira.

This was the second load of wine beer seized in the Carajás region this month. A Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was issued for R$ 141,596.78, charging ICMS and fines.

School desks - Inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa) seized 360 school desks in Cachoeira do Piriá, in the northeast of the state, on this Monday (20). The seizure was carried out by state tax inspectors stationed at the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Gurupi. The load originated in Olinda -PE, destined for Belém-PA. The estimated value, based on similar items in the national market, was R$ 57,276.80.

“The driver of a box truck presented three guides for the movement of property with definitive transfer, without an invoice. Upon physical verification of the load, it was found that the blue plastic university desks were in perfect condition. After confirming the quantity of goods transported and the non-existence of the invoice, procedures were carried out to charge the ICMS on the goods,” informed coordinator Gustavo Bozola.

A Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was issued for a total value of R$ 19,588.66.

Motorcycles – In the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Serra do Cachimbo, on BR-163 highway (Cuiabá-Santarém), KM- 785, in the municipality of Novo Progresso, southwest Pará, two motorcycles valued at R$ 22,700.00 were seized on Saturday (18). The goods left Lucas do Rio Verde-MT.

“When requesting the tax documents, the driver presented only one internal circulation invoice from the state of Mato Grosso (MT) for one of the motorcycles, while the second had no tax documents. The goods were seized, and a Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD) was issued for R$ 10,402.96,” reported coordinator Maycon Freitas.
