Regional Education Board of Tucuruí receives technical visit from Seduc managers

Secretary Ricardo Sefer listened to demands and proposals, so that the State and the school community can work together to seek solutions to improve the quality of public education

With the aim of aligning pedagogical strategies and ensuring improvements in the infrastructure of state public schools, the State Department of Education (Seduc) has been conducting technical visits to the Regional Education Boards (DREs).

Led by the head of the Secretariat, Ricardo Sefer, the meetings allow the school community to present their demands, challenges, and proposals, so that they can seek solutions together to ensure that the population continues to receive quality education.

This Friday (17), the visits were accompanied by the director Jacilene Silva; the pedagogical coordinator Marineide Leite, directors, students, and teachers, who visited some schools under the jurisdiction of the DRE of Tucuruí, such as the Rural State School of Breu Branco, located in the municipality of Breu Branco, and the state schools Severo Alves, Rui Barbosa; Ana Pontes Francez, Raimundo Ribeiro de Souza, and Simão Jacinto dos Reis, which are located in Tucuruí.

The DRE serves 10,252 students and manages 19 schools, including five rural schools, two field education schools, and two full-time schools. Among the 40 regionals, the Secretary of Education has already visited 15, listening to and dialoguing with the school community.

Throughout the agenda, Ricardo Sefer analyzed the urgent needs and activated the technical team of Seduc, in order to accelerate the process and the resolution of pedagogical and structural actions.
