Physiotherapist Rarison Nunes emphasizes that physiotherapy is essential both in the rehabilitation of injuries and in the prevention of musculoskeletal problems

Public Regional Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), in Breves, ensures comprehensive assistance to users

With a wide variety of services and medical specialties, the Public Regional Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), in Breves, guarantees comprehensive assistance to users, from reception to rehabilitation. In this process, physiotherapy stands out as a fundamental step for patient recovery. Only between January and September of this year, the service has already recorded more than 21 thousand attendances.

Physiotherapist Rarison Nunes highlights that physiotherapy is indispensable for recovery and preservation of physical health. “Our work is essential both in the rehabilitation of injuries and in the prevention of musculoskeletal problems. We work to improve mobility, body function, and consequently, the quality of life of patients,” he emphasized.

Approval - Fisherwoman Gracilene Barbosa, 43, comments on the importance of the physiotherapy team, emphasizing the quality of care and the humanized reception of the professionals.

“The hospital's service is great, they welcomed me very well. The professionals are very good and deserve a 10, I feel very safe. The physiotherapist helps us to move and gain strength to rehabilitate,” concluded the worker.

Data - From January to September 2024, HRPM recorded exactly 21,656 attendances.

Service: The Public Regional Hospital of Marajó is a unit of the public health network of the government of Pará, managed by the National Institute of Social and Human Development (INDSH), in partnership with the State Department of Public Health (Sespa).

The unit provides medium and high complexity assistance to approximately 340 thousand inhabitants of the municipalities linked to the 8th Regional Health Center (CRS) – Breves, Anajás, Bagre, Curralinho, Gurupá, Melgaço, and Portel.
