During the morning of this Saturday (11), the management of the Integrated Center for Inclusion and Rehabilitation (CIIR), in Belém, through the Humanization Working Group (GTH), provided a moment of fellowship for users, companions, and collaborators, with the already traditional accompaniment of the Círio Fluvial, one of the many pilgrimages that make up the Círio of Our Lady of Nazaré.

With a privileged geographical location, on the banks of the Guajará bay, the CIIR gathered more than 50 people in its outdoor area, which offers over 40,000 m². During the event, there was a moment of prayers, led by the user Miguel Gouvêa Martins, 7 years old, who participates in therapies at the Autism Spectrum Disorder Care Center (Natea), in Belém. He was accompanied by his grandparents.

Not hiding her emotion at participating in the event for the second year, the grandmother of the young user, Socorro Queiroz, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity. “At this moment, I am praying for my son's health recovery. I wish everyone a happy Círio, especially the users of CIIR. May Our Lady bless us,” she emphasized, highlighting the importance of the community and the support received in the Rehabilitation Center space.

Collaborator Camila Martins, from the administrative area, also thanked for the opportunity to participate in this moment of integration, together with the users and their companions. “It is a moment when the community comes together for a moment of faith and hope for overcoming our challenges. I wish everyone a Círio filled with peace and renewal of our dreams. Just gratitude,” she stressed.

Present at the meeting, the Assistant Director Maria do Carmo Freitas highlighted the importance of bringing together the CIIR audiences, aiming to inspire reflection and devotion. “Here is a safe and accessible place for patients and families to celebrate faith and communion, with the hope of blessings. May our Círio serve to connect faith with the community,” she emphasized.

Union - The event is an initiative of CIIR to ensure accessibility and inclusion, allowing people with different needs to express their faith and participate in cultural traditions fully and safely.

According to Denise Morais, vice president of the GTH of CIIR, the activity plays an essential role in promoting meaningful experiences that combine spirituality, culture, and socialization, strengthening bonds between users and their families, as well as valuing the active participation of all in the community context. “A Círio of light and peace for all of us,” she wished.
