HRPM promotes early celebration of Children's Day with hospitalized patients
The action aimed to provide moments of joy and relaxation for children during their hospitalization

Anticipating Children's Day, which takes place on Sunday (12), the management of the Regional Public Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), in Breves, held a special celebration dedicated to the children hospitalized in the unit this Thursday (9). The action, held in the clinics' hall, aimed to provide moments of joy and relaxation for the children during their hospitalization.
The initiative had the support of caring sponsors, who “adopted” each of the children to gift them on this special date. In addition to the gift delivery, the program included a theatrical performance by the Jehovah Theater Ministry group, with the theme “Lost Treasure”; painting activities and free and directed games, ending with a special snack prepared by the hospital's nutrition team.

For Rosângela Gonçalves, educator and head of the Permanent Education Center (NEP) of the hospital, “children need to feel special at this moment of fragility.” For her, the action values the welcome and comprehensive care for children and their families.
Approval - Housewife Darclene Santos Cardoso, 25, praised the action promoted at the Regional Public Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), highlighting the importance of activities aimed at hospitalized children. “I found it very important and beautiful. Presenting these things to the children helps them to distract themselves instead of being sad. By playing and writing, they learn and have fun,” said Darclene.

She also commented on the moment of reflection presented during the event. “I really liked the theater and the talks about Jesus. They showed that Jesus came to save us and take us to heaven. I found everything very beautiful,” she highlighted.
