The State Government, through the State Secretariat for the Environment, Climate and Sustainability (Semas), completed another community service event of Regulariza Pará in the municipality of Rio Maria, aiming to unify and provide multisectoral services for environmental and land regularization in the State, with the support of the local city hall, the Municipal Secretariat of the Environment of Rio Maria (Semmar), and the Rural Union of the municipality.

The community event was held during the 29th Agricultural Fair (Exposul), which had a large flow of public, enhancing the dissemination of services. During the action days, the technicians from the secretariat provided legal and environmental security to rural producers to encourage compliance with environmental goals and the restoration of degraded areas.

The initiative enabled residents and nearby regions to access key services, especially the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) and the Rural Environmental Licensing (LAR), resulting in the issuance of five rural environmental licenses for the farms in Rio Maria, Xinguara, Redenção, Santa Maria das Barreiras, and Pau D’Arco; eight Environmental Commitment Terms (TCA), all belonging to Rio Maria; eight Environmental Regularization Program Terms (PRA); and about 36 CAR certifications.

“The presence of Regulariza Pará at events like Exposul reinforces the State Government's commitment to bringing environmental and land regularization services to producers, ensuring more legal security and sustainability for the agricultural sector. In addition to direct service, the training conducted strengthens environmental management in municipalities and enhances the efficiency of public policies throughout the Pará territory,” highlighted the Deputy Secretary of Environmental Management and Regularity of Semas.

In addition to the services offered to the population, 35 technicians from the municipalities of Floresta do Araguaia, Pau D’Arco, Água Azul do Norte, and Rio Maria received training on legal norms related to the services offered.

During the three days, services were provided by the Regulariza Pará truck, in the space of the Rural Union, with the most requested services being guidance on CAR and PRA, licensing for agricultural activities, and regularization of rural properties.
