Governor Helder Barbalho and Vice Governor Hana Ghassan accompanied the passage of the Pilgrim Image in front of the Palace of Dispatches

Governor Helder Barbalho and Vice Governor Hana Ghassan, along with thousands of devotees, attended the passage of the procession of the Traslado of the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Nazareth to Ananindeua this Friday (10). Alongside other public figures and officials, the two heads of the State Executive watched the passage of the carriage in front of the Government Palace in Belém and paid tribute to the patroness of the people of Pará.
The Traslado to Ananindeua is the second procession of the Nazarene Quarter and the longest. It spans over 50 kilometers between three cities in the Metropolitan Region of Belém.

The Government of Pará also contributes to the realization of the festivity through public safety agencies, for example. The pilgrimage this Friday departed from the Basilica Sanctuary of Nazareth at 8 a.m. in Belém, heading to the Parish of Our Lady of Grace at the Main Church of Ananindeua.
The carriage with the litter is accompanied by cyclists, runners, and other vehicles. The sidewalks and central medians are filled with faithful waiting to see the passage of the patroness.
One of the most emotional moments occurs at the Ophir Loyola Hospital, where the Pilgrim Image is taken from the litter and brought closer to the patients to bless them.

In front of the Government Palace, where Governor Helder Barbalho and Vice Governor Hana Ghassan were accompanying the transfer. There was even a tribute with a shower of confetti and low-noise fireworks. The litter stopped for about 40 seconds, during which prayers were made silently.
With hands raised to the Virgin of Nazareth, the governor made his private prayers. He was next to First Lady Daniela Barbalho. "It is a pleasure to thank Our Lady of Nazareth for the graces received. Through the streets of Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba, wherever She passes, may She pour out blessings!" said the governor. "Live this moment intensely with Mary. May She, the Queen of the Amazon, protect all our families," added Helder Barbalho.

Vice Governor Hana Ghassan was moved. "Círio is a feeling that cannot be explained. It is pure emotion! May Our Lady cover us with her mantle of love!" she exclaimed.
This Saturday (11), four processions will take place: Bus, River, Motorcycle pilgrimage, and Trasladação. This year, the Navy ship Garnier Sampaio, which carries the Pilgrim Image during the River Círio, will depart from the new Hydroviary Terminal of Icoaraci, delivered by the Government of Pará on October 8.

Security - The State Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup) began Operation Círio 2025 on the last day 6. The action involves all public safety system agencies in preventive and ostensive actions. The operation includes everything from the safety of pilgrims on BR-316 to Recírio, concluding the festivities on October 27.

Traffic - The state and municipal security and traffic agencies will carry out the closure of the main roads and around the route of the Círio de Nazaré 2025 processions, especially on Saturday (11) and Sunday (12), when the Motorcycle Pilgrimage, Trasladação, and Círio take place, respectively.
