State Government reaffirms partnership with Aspas for the execution of the 'First Job' program
Since 2019, the year the program was created in Pará, around 80 companies have already received the seal. In addition to promoting social inclusion and reducing violence rates, the program reinforces the implementation of the Learning Law (Law 10.097/2000)

The State Secretariat for Social Assistance, Labor, Employment and Income (Seaster) has once again reaffirmed its partnership with the Pará Supermarkets Association (Aspas) through the signing of the adhesion term to the 'First Job' program.
The action ensures the hiring of new young people into the labor market, providing the first job. Partner companies in the program receive the 'Citizen Company' seal, a recognition that is the result of social commitment. The certificate delivery event is scheduled to take place at the end of 2025.
Since 2019, the year the program was created in Pará, around 80 companies have already received the seal. In addition to promoting social inclusion and reducing violence rates, the program reinforces the implementation of the Learning Law (Law 10.097/2000).
The importance of the renewal with Aspas guarantees 80% of employability for young people from Pará registered in the program. The 'First Job' program was created to raise awareness among institutions to provide apprenticeship vacancies for young people in situations of social and economic vulnerability. With this initiative, more than three thousand young people have already been placed in apprenticeship positions.
On this occasion, the Deputy Secretary of Labor, Employment and Income, Miriquinho Batista, along with a technical team from Seaster, participated in the renewal act and reinforced the importance of commitment and the employability of the young people who benefit and enter the labor market.
The program aims to generate job insertion opportunities for young people aged 14 to 24 who are in social vulnerability. The employment contract can last up to two years, and during this period, the young person is trained at the training institution within the company, ensuring theoretical and practical qualification.
"It is necessary to be attentive to market changes, to then invest in studies, so as to follow the correct professional career, with choices of professions that are in technological and promising strategies. We know that not everyone has the same opportunity, and that is why the state government, through Seaster, encourages this program, understanding that knowledge is an individual asset and enables everyone, in some way, to take even greater steps," highlighted Miriquinho Batista.
