Sefa seizes three substations worth over R$ 2 million in Dom Eliseu

In Óbidos, inspectors seized, with the support of the Military Police, 899 tires of various models and 444 inner tubes, valued at R$ 645,143.22

The State Department of Finance (Sefa) seized, on 10/07, three energy transformer substations and other electrical equipment, valued at R$ 2,157,144.07, originating from Bauru/SP and destined for Paragominas/PA and Moju/PA. The seizure was carried out by the team of state revenue inspectors assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Itinga, in Dom Eliseu, northeastern Pará.

“During the inspection process, it was verified that there was an underpayment of the Differential Rate of ICMS (Difal), due to the State of Pará. The team issued two Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs), totaling R$ 87,605.58, charging the ICMS and fine, which was paid and the goods released,” informed coordinator Rafael Brasil.

Óbidos - During an inspection also carried out on 10/07, the team of inspectors from Sefa's Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit of Tapajós, Baixo Amazonas, together with the Military Police of Pará, seized 899 tires of various models and 444 inner tubes, valued at R$ 645,143.22, for which the invoice was issued with a suspended state registration of the tax substitute.

“The seizure occurred in Óbidos. The cargo was on a vessel coming from Manaus/AM, destined for Belém/PA. Given the fact, the corresponding ICMS - Tax Substitution was charged, with the issuance of the Term of Seizure and Deposit (TAD), in the amount of R$ 138,325.54, referring to the ICMS and fine,” explained coordinator Roberto Mota.
