Resident of the beach village of Alter do Chão, in Santarém, in the Western region of the State, Renildo Martins is well aware of the community's challenges. Working as a security guard, he has always sought ways to expand his knowledge and seize new opportunities. He saw the chance to transform his routine and invest in the future by enrolling in the free hydraulic installer course offered by the Pará Sanitation Company (Cosanpa).

"For me, it was a great course, a lot of learning. The teacher was highly qualified, and we learned a lot. Now it's just about putting into practice everything we saw and doing a job with excellence. With everything I learned, I will be able to perform services with precision and quality, which will help me in my daily life and also open doors for new job opportunities," Renildo said.

The hydraulic installer course aimed to train community residents to work in hydraulic systems for residential, commercial, and industrial construction. The initiative seeks to expand job opportunities, income generation, and social development in Alter do Chão.

During the classes, participants also took a technical visit to the Company's construction site, where they were able to closely observe the entire structure of the place, as well as equipment and piping.

The training was concluded with the delivery of certificates to the 20 participants. According to Cosanpa's Social Technical Assistant, Gracilene Almeida, the students' evaluation was very positive. "The course was great; the students highlighted that this training met a need in the community, and everyone thanked Cosanpa for this opportunity," she emphasized.
