The Commercial Board of the State of Pará (Jucepa) informs that, during the month of October 2025, the establishment of new companies will be exempt from the payment of public fees. The measure aims to encourage entrepreneurship, strengthen the tourism production chain, and support preparatory actions for the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which will be held in Belém. The exemptions will be granted for acts of registration of individual entrepreneurs and for the establishment of business companies and/or cooperatives, which have as their object activities that can be registered in Cadastur, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém.

According to the president of Jucepa, Filipe Meireles, the measure represents a strategic advancement for the business environment in Pará. “We are creating real conditions for more entrepreneurs to enter formalization, generate jobs, and stimulate the local economy. The exemption from the registration fee throughout the month of October is an action aligned with the development that Pará is experiencing and with the preparation for COP30, which brings visibility and opportunities for various sectors,” he states.

The Secretary-General of Jucepa, Karla Dias, emphasizes the relevance of the measure for small and medium investors. “Facilitating the opening of companies means unlocking dreams and allowing new businesses to emerge with fewer barriers. This incentive will directly reflect on income generation, strengthening tourism, and improving the entrepreneurial environment,” she says.

Technological advancements and deregulation

In recent years, the State Government, in partnership with Jucepa, has promoted various modernizations in the Commercial Registration process. Among the main advancements are:

• 100% digital processes;

 • Integration with municipal, state, and federal agencies;

 • Reduction of deadlines for opening and altering businesses;

 • Expansion of online services for accountants, entrepreneurs, and agents;

 • Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in process analysis.

These improvements have contributed to deregulation, acceleration, and legal security in the business environment, positioning Pará as one of the most advanced Federative Units in digital transformation in the sector.

Impacts for the state of Pará

The total exemption of the public fee for the establishment of companies in October is expected to generate positive effects on indirect revenue and job creation, as well as favor regional development. With the approach of COP30, the state seeks to strengthen strategic sectors such as tourism, services, food, technology, logistics, and the creative economy.

“This public policy represents a direct incentive to innovation, competitiveness, and productive inclusion. We expect a significant impact on the generation of new CNPJs and on economic activity in all regions of Pará,” added the president of Jucepa, Filipe Meireles.

The exemption will be valid for 30 days, in the month of October 2025. Interested parties should access the official digital channels of Jucepa to initiate their processes.

The measure consolidates the commitment of the Commercial Board and the State Government to economic expansion, strengthening entrepreneurship, and preparing Pará to host one of the largest environmental events on the planet.
