The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, was present at the Pineapple Festival 2025 in Barcarena, one of the largest cultural and tourist events in the state, which boosts the local economy and celebrates the agricultural production of the municipality. The festival features major national and regional attractions, also valuing Pará artists in a program that mixes tradition and modernity.

"I want to congratulate the Barcarena city hall for organizing an event of this magnitude, with quality, safety, and organization. Entertainment and culture that warm up the economy, energize the city, and establish themselves as important generators of jobs and income, allowing Barcarena to increasingly position itself as one of the most important cities, an entertainment hub, in all of the Amazon, and this makes me deeply fulfilled and happy with Barcarena's growth," declared Governor Helder Barbalho.

This Sunday (28), the audience could enjoy performances by Mumuzinho, Belo, Henry Freitas, Viviane Batidão, among other artists. The festival's program was marked by musical diversity, with performances that have included sertanejo, pagode, forró, and regional rhythms, consolidating Barcarena as one of the most vibrant cultural destinations in Pará. In addition to the shows, the event also featured a food fair, a craft exhibition, and activities for the whole family.

To ensure the tranquility of the public, the government of Pará set up a special security operation, employing 460 agents working at different points in the municipality during the program days. The integrated action included visible policing, patrolling in high-traffic areas, and monitoring, to ensure that residents and visitors could enjoy the festival safely.

"I cannot fail to thank the support of the state government, represented by our governor Helder and the vice-governor Hana, who provide total support for the event. It is one of the strong points. We gathered 60,000 people and did not have a single problem. Public security is here: Military Police, Civil Police, Fire Department. We had all the intelligence working here to ensure it was a safe event where people could come just to have fun," stated Barcarena Mayor Renato Ogawa.
