Sefa seizes 1,194 pieces of clothing in Cachoeira do Piriá
Two Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs) were issued for a total amount of R$ 18,608.44, which were paid immediately.

Inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa) seized 1,194 units of clothing without an invoice on Thursday (25) in Cachoeira do Piriá, in the northeast of the State. The seizure was carried out by state revenue inspectors assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit in Gurupi.
“A vehicle passed straight through the Gurupi tax post without making the mandatory stop, requiring the inspection vehicle, with the support of the Military Police, to pursue it until the approach and return to the deposit, where a physical check of the goods was made. An invoice for two volumes of goods, originating from São Paulo (SP) and destined for Maracaçumé (MA), was presented, but during the check, it was found that there were 12 volumes. In conversation with the driver, he stated that he picked up the goods in Belém (PA) and was going to take them to the city of Maracaçumé (MA),” explained the coordinator of the tax unit, Gustavo Bozola.
The cargo was checked and 1,194 pieces of women's clothing were found. “Since the cargo was without an invoice covering the transit, the value of the goods was arbitrated, based on a national similar, as determined by legislation, at R$ 45,987.30,” said the state revenue inspector.
Two Terms of Seizure and Deposit (TADs) were issued for a total amount of R$ 18,608.44, which were paid immediately. The taxpayer issued an invoice to regularize the transit of the goods and continued the journey.
