Amazônia Jazz Band celebrates Latin music with a show on October 1st

The show will feature singer Gretchen, musician Esdras, and the band Warilou

Amazônia Jazz Band will present its "Latin Night" on October 1st at Theatro da Paz

The Amazônia Jazz Band is preparing for the show "Latin Night" on October 1st, featuring national and international classics, with participation from singer Gretchen, musician Esdras, and the band Warilou, under the direction of conductor Eduardo Lima, in two sessions at 5 PM and 8 PM at Theatro da Paz.

The repertoire includes national and international songs from the Latin songbook, as well as hits from singer Gretchen and the band Warilou, such as "Tudo isso é amor", "É pra dançar", and "Conga". Conductor Eduardo Lima explained that the idea for the show arose from the audience's acceptance, which always warmly receives Latin music, leading to the decision to unite the Amazônia Jazz Band with this musical genre in a single show, filled with special guests. "The audience can expect high-quality music, which is the hallmark of the Amazônia Jazz Band, with the unique interpretation of the big band joining our guests. It will be a night of glamour," he assured.

For singer Gretchen, performing with the Big Band of Theatro da Paz is the realization of a dream, and the expectation is the best possible. "I received the invitation from conductor Eduardo and was enchanted, emotional, and very, very happy because this was one of the great dreams still to be fulfilled in my artistic life," she shared.

The band Warilou will also participate in the show, singing great hits with the Amazônia Jazz Band. Singer Nicinha Vicari, vocalist of Warilou, emphasizes that the invitation was received with joy by the band and guarantees that the audience can expect a show celebrating the musical culture of Pará. "The expectation is for another record audience in the programming of Theatro da Paz, where the Amazônia Jazz Band has shown itself tireless in creating unique moments. They are experts in presenting to the audience the music of our Pará in a totally luxurious arrangement, with the sound of those talented musicians that make it up," she highlighted.

The show will have two sessions at 5 PM and 8 PM, and is an initiative of the government of Pará through the State Secretariat of Culture (Secult), Theatro da Paz, and the Pará Academy of Music, with master sponsorship from the Vale Cultural Institute via the Rouanet Law. Tickets can be purchased for R$ 2, starting at 9 AM on October 1st through the website Ticket Fácil and at the box office of Theatro. The age rating for the show is 16 years.
