Pará returned to the podium at the Caixa Youth Games this Monday (22), with the bronze medal won by judoka Cláudio Santos, 16 years old. The athlete secured third place in the -90 kg category after defeating the representative from Santa Catarina, reinforcing the prominence of Pará's judo in the national competition.

The participation of Pará's athletes is made possible by the State Government, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), which monitors and supports the delegations throughout the event. In this third and final phase of the Youth Games, Pará competes in badminton, taekwondo, judo, volleyball, and handball. The competitions will continue until the 25th.
