The Estádio Olímpico do Pará – Jornalista Edgar Proença, Mangueirão hosted, on the night of this Saturday (20), the Great Meeting For A Better World, promoted by Rock in Rio and The Town, through the Amazônia Live – Today and Always initiative. The free event brought together thousands of people.
The audience watched performances by Ivete Sangalo, Viviane Batidão, Lambateria Baile Show with special guest Lia Sophia, in addition to the Orquestra Jovem Vale Música, on a night that united culture, music, and socio-environmental awareness.

Amazônia Live – Today and Always is a movement created by the founders of Rock in Rio and The Town to draw attention to the socio-environmental urgencies of the Amazon, anticipating debates that will be highlighted at COP 30, to be held in November this year, in Belém. The project reinforces the need to preserve the forest standing, protect its peoples, and contribute to the global challenge of reducing carbon emissions.
For the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, the event puts Pará in the spotlight of Brazil and the world. "Mangueirão is consolidating itself as a stage for great shows. Hosting an event of this magnitude, which unites music and environmental awareness, shows that Pará is ready for historic moments. It is a pride for all of us to see the stadium full on a night that celebrates culture, sustainability, and the strength of the Amazon," he highlighted.

The gates of Mangueirão opened at 4:30 PM, and the shows began at 6:30 PM, with the Orquestra Jovem Vale Música, which entertained the audience with regional rhythms. Next, Lambateria Baile Show got the audience dancing to the sounds of carimbó, lambada, guitarrada, cúmbia, merengue, and tecnobrega. The special participation of Lia Sophia moved the audience with the classic "Ai Menina," the theme of the soap opera Amor Eterno Amor.

Following that, Viviane Batidão made Mangueirão vibrate with hits like "Galera da Golada," "Grito Seu Nome," and "Olha Bem Pra Mim." The most awaited moment of the night was the entrance of Ivete Sangalo, who lifted the crowd with hits like "Energia de Gostosa," "O Verão Bateu em Minha Porta," "Cria da Ivete," "Macetando," and classics like "Sorte Grande," "Acelera Aê," "Flor do Reggae," and "Abalou." Charismatic, the Bahian singer also invited the Pará native Rebeca Lindsay to share the stage on the song "Se Eu Não Te Amasse Tanto Assim," a moment that received a standing ovation from the audience.
The night also held surprises: Ivete moved the people of Pará by singing "Voando pro Pará," in a tribute to the culture and musicality of the state, which was received with euphoria by the audience.

Singer Viviane Batidão highlighted the importance of the event and the appreciation of the Amazon.
"We are very proud to say that we are a people of the forest because the forest is powerful, it is rich, but it is time to celebrate, it is time to unite singers of all genres, of all styles, to take the stage, to raise our voices, to save the Amazon, to keep it standing, because we need to take care of our greatest asset. What would the culture of the rest of the world be if we had our nature, our forest in order? It is worth nothing, it will mean nothing," she stated.
