More than 300 agents from the Security Forces ensure good fun at 'Amazônia Live'
Operation coordinated by Segup achieved success in integrated activities
The program of "Amazônia Live: Today and Always" arrived at the Olympic Stadium Journalist Edgar Proença, the "Mangueirão", with a free show for an estimated audience of 50,000 people, on the night of this Saturday (20). The event featured a strong security scheme, managed by the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense (Segup).
The actions in the public security area involved more than 300 agents focused on ensuring the preservation of public order, ensuring the integrity and good fun of the audience at Mangueirão. The head of Segup, Ualame Machado, highlighted the work.
"The security strategy included increased policing and inspection on access roads, traffic organization, maintenance of order in the stadium, and handling of incidents by the Fans' Police and Major Events. In addition, the Operational Command Center (CCO) is activated with monitoring images from approximately 900 cameras in the stadium and surroundings, as well as facilitating communication between security forces," informed Ualame Machado.
Located in the stadium's box seats, on side B, the Operational Control and Command Center (CCO) of Mangueirão brings together the focal points of each force. From the CCO, it is possible to monitor images from the cameras installed in the stadium and its surroundings, thus speeding up responses to operational demands, if necessary.
On behalf of Segup, the coordination was with Lieutenant Colonel Ilanise Rodrigues, who monitored all traffic, policing, and health activities. "We were with the focal points of public and private security monitoring the arrival of the public, monitoring people in the external and internal areas of the Mangueirão Stadium. No serious incidents were recorded with the strategy adopted by the State Public Security System and support from municipal agencies being successful," she stated.
Integration - The planned operation involved teams from Segup, through the Operational and Criminal Intelligence and Analysis secretariats, Graesp and Ciop; Military and Civil Police; Detran; Military Fire Department and Seap; as well as other state agencies like Seel, federal agencies like the Federal Police, and also municipal agencies, such as the Municipal Guard and Segbel.
