Iasep holds 2nd Biometric Registration Action on Saturdays in September
The goal is to expand service to insured individuals who missed the deadline in April for updating their biometric registration, which is mandatory.

The Institute of Health Assistance for State Servers of Pará (IASEP) announces the 2nd Biometric Registration Action, which will take place on September 13, 20, and 27, always on Saturdays, from 8 AM to 12 PM, at the headquarters located at Avenida Almirante Barroso, No. 256, between Travessas Antônio Baena and Almirante Moreira da Costa.
The goal is to expand service to insured individuals who missed the deadline in April for biometric registration, which is mandatory for holders and dependents aged 8 years and older.
The president of Iasep, Josynélia Tavares Raiol, emphasized the importance of participation from the insured. “Biometric registration is essential to ensure more security and agility in serving our beneficiaries. We are conducting these actions to facilitate access and allow everyone to regularize their situation with Iasep,” stated Josynélia Raiol.
Who should register - All holders and dependents of the plan must attend, provided they are 8 years or older. Children aged 0 to 7 are exempt, and identification is only required with documents at the time of service at the accredited network.
Insured individuals from other municipalities who receive treatments or health services in Belém also need to complete biometric registration.

Required documents
For holders: RG; CPF; Proof of residence; Membership card (adhesion term).
For dependents: RG; CPF; CPF of the holder (if there is no registration); Adhesion term of the holder (when there is no registration); Adhesion term of the dependent; Proof of residence.
Cases of exemption - Iasep informs that to request an exemption from biometric registration, it is necessary to present a request and updated medical documentation.
“The request will be technically analyzed, and if necessary, an on-site inspection may occur,” clarifies Leonardo Costa, director of the Institute. The exemption will only be granted upon proof of impossibility, not for convenience, and each case will be evaluated individually.
Requests can be made via email: [email protected]
Biometric Registration - The biometric registration was first announced by the Institute in December 2023, and it began on February 19, 2024, with a deadline until December of the same year. Subsequently, extensions were made until the end of April 2025, but service points have been maintained to the present moment. After 90 days, starting from August 1, the accredited network in Belém began to require biometric registration for all insured individuals and their dependents.
