Traffic on Av. Duque de Caxias will have partial night closure starting this Tuesday (2) for service advancement
From 10 PM to 6 AM, the section between Travessas Humaitá and Mauriti will have partial blockage; the works are part of the requalification project of the avenue for COP 30

Traffic on Avenida Duque de Caxias, in Belém, in the section between Travessas Humaitá and Mauriti (towards Hangar), will be partially closed from 10 PM to 6 AM, starting this Tuesday (2). The blockage is necessary for the advancement of services on the road, which are part of the investments for the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30), to be held in November in the capital of Pará.
The works are the result of an agreement signed between the Government of Pará and the Federal Government, through Itaipu Binacional, covering hundreds of streets and avenues in Belém.

Infrastructure and urban mobility - The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Public Works (Seop), intensifies the work on the requalification project of Avenida Duque de Caxias. In June, the state removed the barriers from the blocks included in the first phase of the works, in the section between Travessas Antônio Baena and Humaitá, already allowing the public to use the new bike lane, the pedestrian path, and the leisure areas with outdoor gym, benches, trash cans, game tables, picnic spots, and pet space.

A new covered crossing has been installed on Travessa Humaitá, providing shelter from sun and rain, as well as generating comfort at another resting point.
