On next Sunday, August 31, the Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park will host another edition of the children's project Ecoarte. Organized by the Government of Pará, through the State Tourism Secretariat (Setur) and the Social Organization Pará 2000, this week, the initiative offers little ones a clay workshop. The program starts at 10 am and is free.

Combining creativity, play, family, and nature, Ecoarte is a project aimed at teaching environmental education in a playful way to children. "The most important moment of our lives, without a doubt, is childhood. Teaching from an early age that environmental education is something important and can be fun is essential," says Fernanda Scaramuzzini, Marketing Coordinator of OS Pará 2000.

In this edition, children will be able to fully immerse themselves in the Mangal das Garças through handling plants, clay, and various materials. The clay workshop helps develop fine motor skills, concentration, and tactile perception, providing a unique experience and stimulating the artistic expression of the little ones.

In addition to children's projects, Mangal das Garças has daily programs for the public to connect as much as possible with the local fauna and flora. Check it out:

9 am – Walk with diurnal raptors (Tuesday to Friday)
