Clubs from Pará stand out in the Taça Brasil de Futsal Sub-17 Masculino in Belém

Matches held at 'Mangueirinho' prepared the teams for the final phase of the competition in São Paulo, from November 3 to 7

With the support of the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sport and Leisure (Seel), Belém hosted the Taça Brasil de Futsal Sub-17 Masculino, one of the main grassroots competitions of this sport in Brazil. The matches were held at the Arena Guilherme Paraense, the Mangueirinho, bringing together 18 teams from various states.

The stage held between August 18 and 23 marked the qualifying phase of the tournament, defining the clubs that advance to the final phase, scheduled to take place in São Paulo (SP), from November 3 to 7. Pará was a key player in the competition, securing two spots in the national final with the qualifications of Clube do Remo and Assembleia Paraense.

The sports event brought together athletes from various states

Approved structure - During the competition, athletes and coaches praised the structure offered in Belém. Goalkeeper Higor da Silva Rodrigues, from the Mato Grosso team Futsal Sem Drogas, highlighted the experience lived in the capital of Pará. “We came to participate in our selection here at the Taça Brasil, in Belém, and it was a unique experience. Besides competing, we are getting to know the local culture and the structure offered at Mangueirinho, which is of first quality. We can only thank Seel for the support and for valuing sports, which makes all the difference for us athletes,” he stated.

According to the State Secretary of Sport and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, the Government of Pará reinforces investments in grassroots and high-performance sports. “Our goal is to ensure that more and more young athletes have the opportunity to compete in major competitions, and our Arena Mangueirinho hosted another national competition. We are happy to bring great events to the capital of Pará,” said the secretary.

The Taça Brasil de Futsal Sub-17 Masculino now proceeds to its decisive stage in São Paulo, revealing new talents for Brazilian futsal.
