State Government delivers Usina da Paz in Moju this Thursday (28)
The new state multifunctional complex is the 17th delivered by the State Government to the people of Pará

The municipality of Moju, in northeastern Pará, is eagerly awaiting the delivery of the 17th Usina da Paz from the State. The complex will be delivered to the population this Thursday (28).
The arrival of another unit of the largest citizenship and social transformation complex in Latin America will expand the network of services and assistance to the people of Moju, offering more than 70 free services in areas such as health, citizenship, education, professional qualification, security, sports, culture, and leisure.

More opportunities for the population - Students Isis Maria and Jhessi Aycha are looking forward to dance and water sports activities. “For us, it will be really cool because we will be able to enjoy the pool and dance classes. These are activities we don’t have at our school, and here we will have access. It will be easier for us who live here in the neighborhood,” said Isis. “The Usina will help people who cannot afford to pay for courses, which are quite expensive,” concluded Jhessi.

Merchant Waldelino Cardoso is also hopeful for the arrival of more benefits that will be generated by the Usina. “It will certainly improve and bring many services to the population, not just for us in the neighborhood, but for the entire municipality, which is very extensive. It will be an opportunity for people to take courses and enhance their knowledge. It’s something that will help and come to add,” he declared.

Juliana Nascimento, mother of a child with special needs, hopes that the Usina can guarantee services for her family. “I believe it will improve our city. I hope there are many services here so that my son can participate and that it is something valued by the population.”
Space of opportunities - Located on Travessa Colonial, in the Alto neighborhood, the new Usina da Paz Moju has a modern and functional structure, with environments equipped to offer more than 70 free services that will directly benefit over 90,000 local residents.
The state public facility has structured rooms for medical, dental, and psychological care, education and professional training courses, as well as spaces like libraries, computer rooms, study, dance, music, and gastronomy, a sports gym, pool, outdoor gym, open court, pet area, multicultural square, among others.

“The delivery of the Usina da Paz in Moju is another important step in the commitment of the Government of Pará to transform lives through citizenship and social inclusion. This space will guarantee opportunities, services, and support for thousands of families. The Usinas da Paz have already shown, in different municipalities, the ability to change realities, and here in Moju it will be no different,” said the State Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.
Usinas da Paz - The Usinas da Paz are citizenship complexes implemented by the Government of Pará with the aim of promoting social inclusion, reducing violence, and improving the quality of life of the population in vulnerable areas. The project is part of the Territories for Peace Program (TerPaz) and, since 2021, when the first Usina da Paz was delivered, it has already guaranteed over 10.4 million services in various regions of the State.

In the context of public safety, the Usinas contribute to significant reductions in the rates of Intentional Violent Lethal Crimes (CVLI) in the areas where they are located, with percentages reaching up to 90% decrease, indicating effectiveness in promoting public safety and improving quality of life.
Currently, 16 units are already in full operation, in the capital (Jurunas/Condor, Guamá, Terra Firme, Bengui, and Cabanagem) and in the municipalities of Ananindeua, Marituba, Benevides, Castanhal, Capanema, Bragança, Abaetetuba, Tucuruí, Marabá, Parauapebas, and Canaã dos Carajás.
