The Amazônia Jazz Band will perform at 7 PM next Saturday (30) at the Usina da Paz in the municipality of Abaetetuba, in Baixo Tocantins, under the direction of principal conductor Eduardo Lima.

The Big Band from Theatro da Paz is preparing a show with an eclectic repertoire featuring national and international songs, as well as hits from Pará music, such as "Esse Rio é minha rua" by Paulo André and "Voando Pro Pará" by singer Joelma.

Conductor Eduardo Lima states that the audience can expect a danceable show with hits from world music, including "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton; "Palco" by Gilberto Gil, among others.

"In addition to great hits from Pará music, our famous cumbia merengue and lambada, with super choreography that only the Amazônia Jazz Band does and a unique arrangement and the energy of these wonderful musicians. We are looking forward to this great concert," emphasizes the conductor.

This initiative is a realization of the Government of Pará through the state secretariats of Culture (Secult) and Articulation and Citizenship (Seac), Theatro da Paz, Academia Paraense de Música (APM) and is part of the Sons da Paz project, which reaffirms the commitment of the Government of Pará to democratize access to culture.
