The Economic Development Company of Pará (Codec), the City Hall of Breves, and the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme) held an online meeting with Allmazon on the morning of this Tuesday (12) to align demands and strategies related to the implementation of the Industrial District of the municipality, in the Marajó Archipelago.

Allmazon, which has already acquired 10 hectares in the hub, presented its immediate needs to start construction on the land: enabling the electricity network, mediation for access to credit through the Northern Constitutional Financing Fund (FNO), guidance on tax incentives, and improvements in asphalt paving.

The online meeting also presented guidelines and procedures for obtaining state tax incentives

Structure - The Industrial District of Marajó will be implemented in an area of 202 hectares, previously designated for the industrial sector by the Urban Master Plan of the municipality. The project provides, in module I, for the structuring of 43 industrial lots, served by 2.33 kilometers of paved roads, drainage system, sidewalks, bike lanes, pedestrian crossings, central medians, landscaping, and an electricity distribution network.

During the meeting, Sedeme, represented by Marcus Vinícius Matos Paes, coordinator of the Incentivized Projects Monitoring Group (Gapi), presented guidelines and procedures for obtaining state tax incentives. He highlighted that ten companies in Marajó already benefit from incentives granted by the State, demonstrating the region's potential to attract new investments.

From Codec, the manager of New Business Services, Sabrina Sena, advisor Lorena Aguiar, and the foreign trade manager, Eduardo Rodrigues, provided initial guidance to Allmazon. They informed that the Company will be responsible for enabling the installation of electricity with Sedeme, the secretariat responsible for articulating the demand directly with the utility company Equatorial Energia.

Priority - The team also committed to scheduling a meeting with the Bank of the Amazon (Basa) to discuss financing lines through FNO (Northern Constitutional Financing Fund). The follow-up with Allmazon will remain a priority for Codec, with technical support in all phases of the project.

Before moving on to other matters, the Director of Lands of the City Hall of Breves, Fabrício Silva Costa, informed Allmazon that a popular condominium will be built nearby, and that the paving planned for the work will also include access to the future Industrial District, helping to improve the road infrastructure.

Proposals - The meeting also addressed the interest of other companies in the industrial hub. Among the proposals already received by the City Hall are a precast industry, a fuel terminal, a factory for machines to process açaí, a producer of gears for outboard motors, and an innovative venture that aims to produce coffee from açaí seeds.

“The Industrial District of Breves represents a concrete opportunity to boost the economy of Marajó. With the interest already expressed by companies from different segments, our job is to plan an organized space, with adequate infrastructure, capable of attracting investments and generating jobs sustainably. The Interest Form will be essential for us to direct this planning and align the District with the real needs of the market,” highlighted Manoel Ibiapina, Director of Investment Attraction at Codec.

Just as has already occurred in the municipalities of Castanhal and Santarém, starting this Tuesday, the Interest Form for acquiring an area in the Industrial District of Breves will be available on Codec's website (www.codec.pa.gov.br/distrito-industrial-de-breves). The Company will also provide the City Hall with a QR Code to facilitate access.

The form will allow organizing the hub by industrial segments, mapping specific demands, and gathering strategic data to support investments in infrastructure, logistics, and support services.

Also participating in the meeting were Carlos Eduardo Resende de Melo, Attorney General of the Municipality of Breves; Carlos Alberto Silva Otoni Neto, legal advisor of the Municipal Attorney's Office of Breves; Rogério do Carmo Gomes, executive director of Allmazon, and the partners of Allmazon, Breno Dias and Ricardo Dias.
