Cosanpa inspects water and sewage system in the Cidade Jardim residential area in Santarém
Neighborhood was created by a law project sanctioned by the municipal government

A technical team from the Pará Sanitation Company (Cosanpa) inspected this week the water supply and sewage system in Cidade Jardim, a neighborhood officially recognized after the creation by a law project sanctioned by the municipal government of Santarém, in the western region of Pará.
The systems built by a private company will be transferred to Cosanpa, which will take over the operation and maintenance of the structures. The visit aimed to verify the operational conditions of the system and collect information for the preparation of a technical report.

“We came to inspect the Cidade Jardim residential area and it is very promising. It has all the infrastructure set up, already in pre-operation. It certainly brought a great benefit to Santarém and to Cosanpa, as a sanitation activity in the area of sewage and treatment, in terms of water supply. The system is well built,” evaluated Cosanpa engineer Levi Pereira.
Furthermore, according to him, the commission will prepare a complete report to formalize the receipt of the infrastructure by Cosanpa. “Their interest is to formalize this transfer to the State. And we will work within the documentation so that the system becomes part of the company's assets,” he explained.
