The Federal Government opened, on this Monday (11), the application period for proposals for panels that will be part of the programming of the Brazil Pavilions during the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP30), which will be held in Belém, from November 10 to 21. Applications can be submitted until 11:59 PM on August 30, through the website of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA).

The Brazil Pavilions will be meeting points for the Brazilian and international community to discuss addressing the climate crisis, the 30 strategic objectives of the Action Agenda, the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), and the Climate Plan. The programming will also include exhibitions and cultural presentations. Activities will be distributed between the Blue and Green zones, coordinated by the MMA in collaboration with other federal agencies.

In the Blue Zone, the focus will be on the implementation of Brazil's NDC under the Paris Agreement, as well as international cooperation. In the Green Zone, debates will prioritize domestic issues related to the Climate Plan. Proposals must indicate the thematic axis, the suggested date, and the participating institutions (debaters and moderation), seeking plurality and diversity of views.

There will be live streaming (subject to availability) and Portuguese-English interpretation services in the Blue Zone Pavilion. The selection results will be announced on September 20, on the MMA website.

Proposals will be submitted via an electronic form available on the MMA portal, which also provides a guide with general guidelines. Questions can be sent to the official email provided by the Ministry.
