Military Police of Pará delivers new facilities for the Education, Culture, and Communication sectors
Spaces were renovated at the General Command Headquarters and strengthen the training, culture, and institutional relationship of the corporation
The Military Police of Pará (PMPA) delivered, on the morning of this Thursday (7), the new facilities of the General Department of Education and Culture (DGEC) and the Social Communication Advisory (Ascom), at the General Command Headquarters in Belém. The initiative reinforces the State Government's commitment to valuing the troops, promoting structural improvements aimed at the qualification, well-being, and communication of the corporation.
The ceremony was presided over by the PMPA's general commander, Colonel Dilson Júnior, and gathered high command officers, department directors, section heads, and enlisted personnel of the corporation.
Structure aimed at the training and well-being of police officers
The General Department of Education and Culture is responsible for coordinating and supervising the entire education system of the Military Police, promoting training, capacity building, improvement, and specialization actions for officers and enlisted personnel. The agency also fosters cultural and sports initiatives, which are fundamental for the comprehensive development of military personnel.
The Social Communication Advisory plays a strategic role in the relationship between PMPA and society and the press, acting in the dissemination of institutional actions, mediating information, and maintaining the corporation's official channels.
Investment in structure and equipment
The delivery of the new facilities represents a total investment of R$ 610,479.19, of which R$ 413,483.49 was allocated to physical works and R$ 196,995.70 to the acquisition of furniture and electronic equipment.
During the event, the PMPA's general commander, Colonel Dilson Júnior, highlighted the direct benefits that the new structure will bring to the personnel:
“This is another project that provides better working conditions for our troops. We are committed to offering dignity in physical spaces, comfort to employees, and an environment conducive to the quality of service provided,” said the colonel.
With the modernization of the spaces designated for DGEC and Ascom, the Military Police reinforces two strategic pillars of the institution: the continuous qualification of its members and the strengthening of the institutional image through efficient and transparent communication.
