Payment with discounts on IPVA for vehicles with license plates ending in 49 to 69 continues until August 4
Owners can pay in a single installment or in installments. After the licensing date, payment will incur fines and interest.
The State Department of Finance (Sefa) informs owners of motor vehicles with license plates ending in 49 to 69 that until next Monday (4) it is possible to pay the Tax on the Ownership of Motor Vehicles (IPVA) with discounts of up to 15%. The discounts, valid for those who have not received traffic fines, are 15% off the tax amount for those who have been without fines for two years; 10% for those who did not receive fines last year, and 5% discount in other situations.
There are three payment options for IPVA in Pará: early payment in a single installment, with a discount; installment payment in up to three installments before the due date, without discount, and full payment on the date of annual licensing at the Department of Transit (Detran). After the licensing date, payment will incur fines and interest.

To check the tax amount and issue the State Collection Document (DAE), the vehicle owner must access the Sefa website, www.sefa.pa.gov.br
The DAE payment can be made via Pix or using the barcode. In this case, use the authorized banking network - Bank of the State of Pará (Banpará), Bank of the Amazon (Basa), Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Santander, Itaú, and Caixa Econômica Federal - and lottery houses.
The IPVA rate is 2.5% for automobiles, pickup trucks, and recreational or sports watercraft not intended for commercial activity; 1% for buses, minibuses, trucks, mechanical horses, motorcycles, and similar vehicles. Vehicles over 15 years old are exempt. Boats and aircraft must pay the IPVA by June 30.
