Debt negotiation campaign reaches four municipalities in northeastern Pará
Special conditions include up to 90% discount on the original bill amount, exemption from interest and fines, and 40% discount for cash payments

This Friday (01), the Pará Sanitation Company (Cosanpa) begins the "Count on Cosanpa" campaign in the municipalities of Ourém, São Francisco do Pará, Capitão Poço, and Inhangapi, in the northeastern part of the state. The itinerant action will travel through several municipalities served by Cosanpa and is part of the Market Directorate's planning to facilitate the regularization of debts by users.
Since last week, technical teams have been visiting the neighborhoods of these locations to deliver letters with detailed information about the amounts eligible for negotiation. The campaign offers special conditions, with up to 90% discount on the original bill amount, exemption from interest and fines, as well as a 40% discount for cash payments.
Regularizing the situation with Cosanpa is essential to avoid having the consumer's name included in credit protection agencies, which can hinder access to financing, opening accounts, or contracting services.
"This is a unique opportunity for users to settle their debts with facilitated conditions and regain peace of mind with their bills up to date. Our goal is to ensure continuous access to water and sewage services and also support the recovery of these families' purchasing power," emphasizes Robson Querino, campaign coordinator.
Negotiations can be made directly at the Cosanpa Service Stores in each municipality.
