Civil Police ensures quick responses to bathers' demands during Summer Operation
Teams from the Civil Police and the Department of Traffic (Detran) are working together in Salinas and Benevides to immediately formalize legal procedures

The action of the Civil Police of Pará in the integrated actions of the 'Summer Operation 2025' ensures agility in holding offenders accountable this summer. In a new statistical update, 90 arrests were recorded throughout Pará by the morning of this Sunday (13), with 41 for alcohol-related offenses, the majority in the municipality of Salinópolis, where 39 people were caught in the act for driving under the influence of alcohol.
In partnership with the State Department of Traffic (Detran), teams from the Civil Police have been operating at the inspection posts in Salinópolis and Benevides, allowing for the immediate formalization of legal procedures, in order to reduce the time between the offense and the citation.

“In just the last 24 hours, there were 16 arrests for alcohol-related offenses in Salinópolis. The participation of the Civil Police in the integration with other forces has been fundamental for the swift and effective enforcement of the Dry Law in the state, curbing high-risk behaviors that threaten lives,” highlighted delegate Heráclito Neto, directly from the Detran inspection post in Salinópolis.
In addition to repressing traffic crimes, the presence of the Civil Police at strategic points along tourist routes seeks to ensure easy access for the population to police services and public order. During the operation, over 1,100 incident reports have already been recorded statewide, while 174 police procedures have been initiated. In the fight against noise pollution, for example, 112 vehicles were inspected by the Specialized Division for Environment and Animal Protection (DEMAPA).

For delegate Dilermando Dantas, responsible for the Itinerant Directorate this weekend, the actions reinforce the citizen aspect of the institution. “By practically demonstrating that the State is committed to ensuring peace and tranquility on multiple fronts, we are strengthening the bond of trust with the population.”
