The Brazilian women's national football team begins its journey towards the ninth title of the Copa América this Sunday (13) in Ecuador, and all the emotions of the green and yellow team's matches can be followed on the screens of TV, Portal, and the Cultura Rede de Comunicação app.

The opening match will be against Venezuela at the Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda Stadium in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, at 9 PM this Sunday, July 13, Brasília time. The broadcast will start at 8:30 PM with narration by Luciana Zogaib and comments from Brenda Balbi and Rachel Motta from TV Brasil.

The Brazilian team, led by coach Arthur Elias, is the biggest champion of the competition, having only missed out on the Copa América title once, 19 years ago, when the trophy went to Argentina. The green and yellow team arrives in Quito after four consecutive victories. The last one was in Colombia in 2022, overcoming the hosts in the final. Throughout its history, the canarinho team has played 50 matches in the competition, with 47 wins, one draw, and two losses.

Copa América Feminina - The Copa América brings together the 10 teams affiliated with the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol), divided into two groups of five teams. Brazil is in Group B. The Brazilian team will also face Bolivia on the 16th at 6 PM; Paraguay on the 21st at 9 PM; and Colombia on the 25th, again at 9 PM, always with broadcasts from TV, Portal, and the Cultura Rede de Comunicação app.
In Group A, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, and the host Ecuadorian team are featured. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, scheduled for July 28 and 29. The final is set for August 2.

Unlike other occasions, the Copa América will not qualify for the Women's World Cup. However, the tournament in Ecuador guarantees a spot for the finalists in the Los Angeles Olympics in the United States in 2028, while the top five secure a place in the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The qualification for the Women's World Cup in 2027 in Brazil will occur, for the first time, through qualifying matches, with two direct spots and two more in the playoffs.
