Mangal das Garças offers free children's workshop this Sunday (13)
The activity will teach children how to make binoculars using recyclable materials, starting at 10 am, in the park

The Zoobotanical Park Mangal das Garças, in Belém, is promoting a free workshop aimed at children this Sunday (13). The activity starts at 10 am and will be conducted by the Animation Club team. The proposal is to teach children how to make binoculars using recyclable materials, such as cardboard and paper rolls, in a playful and educational way.
This action is part of the Ecoarte Project programming, offered in the park on Sundays. The idea is to encourage children's contact with nature, stimulating curiosity, creativity, and the reuse of materials. After making the binoculars, participants will be able to explore the park's spaces with their handmade binoculars, observing birds and other elements of the environment.
The activity is open to the public and does not require prior registration. Just show up at the location at the scheduled time. Mangal das Garças is located on Carneiro da Rocha Street, in the Cidade Velha neighborhood. The space operates from 8 am to 6 pm, with free entry to the open areas.
The Ecoarte project is promoted by the State Government, through the State Tourism Secretariat (Setur) and the Social Organization Pará 2000, which manages the Park.
In addition to the workshop, Mangal offers other attractions, such as the butterfly house and the Belém lighthouse, which have paid access and can be purchased at the ticket office.
