Five people arrested for qualified theft and receiving stolen goods in Altamira
In the action of the Civil Police, with the support of the Military Police, watches, cell phones, a laptop, and cash were also seized.
Teams from the Altamira Sectional, in the Xingu Integration Region, western Pará, arrested five people in the act for the crimes of qualified theft and receiving stolen goods on Thursday (10). Among the suspects, four were charged with receiving stolen goods and one with theft. The arrests were supported by the Military Police of Pará.
Initially, the teams were called to respond to a theft occurrence at a commercial establishment. In light of this, investigations were initiated, and the police managed to locate, arrest, and bring the perpetrator of the theft to the police unit for the necessary legal measures.

“During the approach, the suspect confessed to the crime to the police teams and claimed that he had left part of the stolen materials with a woman and a man. Soon, the agents went to the couple, and at the location, one of the investigated stated that the suspect had left a bag with the stolen items in the property,” informed Delegate Wilson Silva, head of the Regional Superintendency of the Civil Police.
The material was seized and presented to the on-duty police authority for the necessary procedures.
The woman who was in the property confessed to the police that the rest of the stolen items were with two other men. The searches continued, and the other involved individuals were also located and arrested.

Four suspects were arrested for receiving stolen goods, in addition to the perpetrator of the theft, totaling five arrests. Various watches, cell phones, a laptop, and cash were seized.
“The integrated action with the Military Police was designed precisely to better understand the specifics of the crime and, together, carry out active policing with the aim of reinforcing the safety of the Pará population, as well as locating and arresting individuals, in accordance with the enforcement of the laws,” emphasized Delegate Wilson Silva.
