Student celebrates access to the Interpass digital wallet, which guarantees a 50% discount on intercity tickets.

Students from Pará can now access the digital version of the Interpass Wallet, which guarantees a 50% discount on the price of intercity tickets for road and water transport. The release of the virtual wallet was announced by the state government through the Regulatory and Control Agency for Public Transport Services (Artran), responsible for the administrative and financial structure of the Tripartite Management Commission of the Intermunicipal Half-Pass of Pará (Cogmep), which is responsible for issuing the wallet. The measure ensures the right for students while the new physical wallets undergo adjustments in the production process.

The initiative applies to both those who requested the document in 2025 and to students who already have an active registration. The digital wallet can be generated directly through the Interpass app, available for free on the Play Store and App Store, and has the same legal validity as the printed version. With the modernization of the system, the Interpass Wallet now features a QR Code linked to the student's CPF, a measure that increases security and prevents misuse of the benefit.

Greater security - "The new wallets can only be validated at the companies' counters if the CPF is correctly included in the system. Previously, the registration was done without CPF, which made control difficult and allowed for misuse. Now, the CPF serves as the student's identifier at the time of ticket purchase and validation, making the process faster and more reliable," explains Rosangela Conceição, manager of Cogmep and representative of Artran.

She also emphasizes that "the right to half-fare is guaranteed by State Law No. 7,327/2009, and serves students who live and study in different cities within Pará. The benefit is valid during the academic year. In the months of July, December, and January, it is necessary to present an updated declaration from the educational institution, proving the completion of classes, internships, or research. This document must be signed and stamped by the institution."

Issuance of the digital wallet can be done in a few minutes via mobile phone

The use of the student half-fare is valid for travel between municipalities, within the following distance limits: up to 100 kilometers for students of technical and undergraduate courses, and up to 250 kilometers for postgraduate students. The issuance of the digital wallet is simple and can be done in a few minutes via mobile phone. To do this, just follow the step-by-step:

- Download the Interpass app, available on the Play Store or App Store;
- Access the main menu (icon with three lines in the upper corner);
- Select the option "Generate Virtual Wallet";
- Correctly fill in the following data:
- Full name (without accents), and
- CPF, date of birth, and mother's name.

If the wallet is not generated, it is important to check if the data was filled in correctly and if the registration has already been processed by the Cogmep team.

Service: Students living in Belém, Ananindeua, and Marituba (Metropolitan Region) must request the Interpass Wallet in person, directly at the Cogmep headquarters, located at the Belém Bus Terminal, room 116, on the 1st floor, São Brás neighborhood.

Public service operates from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm. Students from other municipalities must request through their educational institutions, which are responsible for gathering and forwarding the documents for the issuance of the wallet.
