The Forensic Police of Pará (PCEPA) conducted a property damage investigation at the City Park of Belém, responding to a request from the Civil Police of Pará. The action took place early on Monday morning (7), through the Division of Adolescent Assistance (DATA), for criminal investigation, after the park administration identified graffiti on a skate track.

"The property damage investigation is a technical examination carried out to assess and document the consequences of damage caused by third parties to assets, whether material or financial, of a person or institution. This allows for determining the extent of the damage, identifying the cause, and establishing the loss, which is important in both criminal investigations and legal disputes," explains Celso Mascarenhas, general director of PCEPA.

Criminal expert Alberto Seabra was at the City Park and stated that "this procedure will help clarify the facts through a report that will be issued within a legal period of 10 business days, which may be extended by another 10 business days depending on the severity."

The Property Crimes Unit (NCCP) conducts investigations when the damage leaves traces and needs to be proven. The Forensic Police responds to requests for investigations from individuals and legal entities, as long as they are requested by authorities such as delegates, judges, prosecutors, and armed forces, and with an ongoing inquiry.
