The State Government will deliver, this Tuesday (8), the new Peace Plant of the municipality of Bragança, in northeastern Pará. This will be the 15th unit of the largest citizenship project in Latin America delivered in Pará and the second in the Caeté Region, which already has a UsiPaz in the municipality of Capanema.

With a modern and functional structure and more than 70 services available for free, the complex will be a new reference for the local population in health, education, social assistance, culture, sports, and leisure services.

"Expectations are high. I already know there will be citizenship, education, health, and sports services. It will be a great opportunity for all of us residents," pointed out Hilda Soares, who lives in the municipality of Bragança.

State-of-the-art structure - Located on Juscelino Kubitschek Avenue, in Vila Sinhá, the new Peace Plant in Bragança will have spaces such as two main buildings, Plant and Assistance, where services for document issuance, vocational courses, libraries and study rooms, medical, dental, and psychological care, legal guidance, among others, will be available.

The complex will also feature areas for sports, cultural, and leisure activities, including a multipurpose gym, sand court, outdoor gym, theater, children's park, and swimming pool.

“The Peace Plant in Bragança arrives with a modern and complete structure to serve the population of our dear Bragança. These are spaces designed to welcome, care for, and transform lives,” stated the State Secretary for Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.

Peace Plants - The Peace Plants are citizenship complexes implemented by the State Government to promote social inclusion, reduce violence, and improve the quality of life of the population in vulnerable areas of the State.

The project is part of the Territories for Peace program (TerPaz). Since 2021, with the delivery of the first Peace Plant, the citizenship complexes have already ensured more than 9.9 million services.

In the context of public safety, the Plants also contribute to significant reductions in the rates of Intentional Violent Lethal Crimes (CVLI) in the areas where they are located, with percentages reaching a 90% decrease, indicating effectiveness in promoting public safety and improving quality of life.

More Plants - Currently, 14 units are already in full operation in Belém (Jurunas/Condor, Guamá, Terra Firme, Bengui, and Cabanagem); in the municipalities of Ananindeua, Marituba, Benevides, and Castanhal, in the Metropolitan Region; Capanema in Caeté, Abaetetuba, in Baixo Tocantins, and Marabá, Parauapebas, and Canaã dos Carajás, in southeastern Pará.

Another 22 new UsiPaz are under construction in the cities of Altamira, Cametá, Paragominas, Tucuruí, Santa Izabel do Pará, Redenção, Itaituba, Santarém, Viseu, Igarapé-Miri, Barcarena, Breves, Dom Eliseu, São Miguel do Guamá, Portel, Moju, Parauapebas (second Plant), Óbidos, Salinópolis, Tomé-Açu, São Félix do Xingu, and Belém, in the Icoaraci district.
