With the arrival of the July vacation, beaches, resorts, and tourist cities in Pará experience a significant increase in the flow of people. To ensure that the period is enjoyed safely, the Military Police reinforces policing in the most sought-after areas and advises the population with important prevention tips.

With the start of the Safe Summer Operation 2025, launched on June 28, the Military Police of Pará has intensified policing in tourist locations such as Salinópolis, Mosqueiro, Outeiro, and Bragança. The strategy mobilizes about 7,358 military police officers distributed across various policing processes, 223 vehicles (cars and motorcycles), aerial and river patrols, in addition to integrated command centers to ensure constant attention to visitors.

To enjoy the vacation with peace of mind, the Military Police highlights essential precautions:

Traffic safety - preventive vehicle inspections, mandatory seatbelt use, respect for speed limits, and heightened attention when driving at night. Driving under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited.

Fun and care at the beach - choose areas with more movement, avoid isolated places, keep valuables protected, and supervise children using identification wristbands. Always respect the lifeguards' instructions and risk signage.

Protection of documents and money - carry only what is necessary, prefer card or pix payments, and be extra cautious when using ATMs or accessing promotions on social media to avoid scams.

Quick action in emergencies - In any incident, call 190 or seek a police station. Keep emergency contacts saved on your phone for immediate response.

In addition to patrolling the streets, the Military Police also conducts educational campaigns, roadblocks, and integrated actions with other security and traffic agencies.

According to the commander of PMPA, Colonel Dilson Júnior, the planning of the Military Police aims to ensure that the population enjoys the vacation safely:
"Summer in Pará is one of the most anticipated times of the year. We are acting with planning and reinforcement of personnel in all strategic areas to prevent crimes and protect vacationers."

The Military Police emphasizes that safety is also an individual responsibility. Attention, respect for the laws, and prudence are essential for a peaceful and uneventful vacation.
