The municipality of Canaã dos Carajás, in the southeast of Pará, received another edition of the state program "Por Todas Elas" on Friday (4), which offered free health, citizenship, and well-being services focused on valuing and caring for women from Pará.

The action included more than 30 types of services, including document issuance, medical and dental consultations, eye exams with frame selection for prescription glasses, rapid tests, vaccinations, mammography and ultrasound exams, as well as specialized referrals.

Present at the event, the vice-governor of Pará and creator of the project, Hana Ghassan, highlighted the importance of the initiative.

"This is a program that brings health care, citizenship, services, and medical consultations. It is another important action of the State Government to strengthen the care for our women. We know that women take care of everyone. And we need to take care of women. So we bring the State Government closer to them. More than five thousand women will pass through here," emphasized Hana.

The public also had access to aesthetic services, health guidance, and free legal support offered by the State Public Defender's Office.

Luciana Freitas

Attendee Luciana Freitas, 38, was one of the first to arrive and took the opportunity to consult with the general practitioner. "I heard about the project and took the opportunity to do exams and consultations. I went to the general practitioner to get a referral for a thyroid exam and found everything very quick. Sometimes we can't go to a health post because of the wait, and here everything was quick and free. Really very good," she said.

Audrea Oliveira

Meanwhile, administrative assistant Audrea Oliveira, 47, left satisfied after her eye exam. "I had my vision checked and chose my frame. I had been needing to change my glasses for a long time because mine was giving me headaches and everything was blurry. Now I will be able to work better, I am very happy with this care. This action helps especially the neediest people, who really need these services," she said.

Structure - The structure set up for the action included five mobile units from the TerPaz program, fully equipped to offer medical care, exams, and citizenship services.

One of the highlights was the Women's Truck, which focused on services related to women's health, such as mammography, preventive exams, and ultrasound. The unit was essential to ensure comprehensive care for women, with comfort, privacy, and agility in service.

Marinalva Pereira

Housewife Marinalva Pereira, 54, was one of the women attended. She took advantage of the action to undergo a mammogram, with the exam result obtained in just a few minutes. "I had needed to do this exam for a long time, but it never worked out, either it was far away or there were no slots available. Today I was able to do it quickly here at the truck, I was very well attended. It is a relief to be able to take care of my health like this, close to home and with everything free. I feel very grateful," she stated.

Numbers - Created in 2024, the "Por Todas Elas" program has already traveled to various regions of the State and totals more than 120,000 services, promoting access to basic rights and encouraging female leadership in Pará communities.
