Paraíso Junino took first place in the State Quadrilha Contest

Promoted by the Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP), the Arraial of All Saints 2025 came to an end last Sunday (29) in a festive night marked by the presentation of the champion quadrilhas from the XXI State Quadrilha Contest.

The top two in the adult category, the quadrilhas “Paraíso Junino” and “Roceiros do Sal” re-presented the performances that made them champions. The winner of the children’s category “Explosão Junina de Soure” returned to the capital of Pará to receive its award and once again delight the audience.

From the Island of Marajó, the Explosão Junina de Soure was the champion in the children’s category

In addition to the quadrilhas, awards were given to beauty queens, choreographers, markers, and stylists who stood out during the State Contest. In total, 57 junina initiatives were awarded. The total prize money distributed among the categories exceeds 500 thousand reais.

“Today was a day to celebrate and award the champions of the XXI State Quadrilha Contest and also to thank all the groups that create culture in our State and participated in this celebration with us, sharing their art in the Dona Graça arena, on the Verequete stage, in the Margarida Schivasappa theater, in Curro Velho, or at the Casa das Artes, where the Arraial began 30 days ago. Thank you for the work, dedication, and trust in the work of the Cultural Foundation of Pará. Next year, there will be more Arraial of All Saints,” declared the president of the Cultural Foundation of Pará, Thiago Miranda.

President of the Foundation, Thiago Miranda, highlighted the importance of keeping the junina traditions alive in Pará

The 2025 edition of the Arraial of All Saints began its activities on May 31, with the Revoada de Pássaros Juninos, at the Casa das Artes. The following weekend, on June 6, 7, and 8, the Arraial reached the Curro Velho nucleus with the presentations of the Auto Junino. On June 13, the programming became daily at Centur, the headquarters building of the FCP, where 132 quadrilhas and 80 folk groups performed.
