City Park sets special operating hours until July 31
Recently inaugurated facility closes for maintenance on Mondays and opens from 8 AM to 10 PM from Tuesday to Sunday

The City Park, a legacy of COP 30 in Belém, has defined its operating schedule until July 31 to ensure the best experience for visitors and complete infrastructure adjustments in its first month of operation.
Check how access will be:
Mondays – closed for maintenance in the morning and afternoon, opening to the public from 6 PM;
Tuesday to Sunday – continuous operation from 8 AM to 10 PM.
According to the State Department of Culture (Secult), weekly maintenance is essential for "small adjustments to infrastructure, service, and logistics" inherent to a newly inaugurated facility.
“The City Park is a fantastic space. We had an amazing inauguration, with the presence of over 16,000 people. But, being new and grand, this maintenance dynamic is crucial for us to identify points that need to be adjusted and to make the space fully available for all the people of Belém, the metropolitan region, and all of our Pará,” explains Secretary Úrsula Vidal.
14 areas for leisure and sustainable sports
Equipped with low environmental impact solutions, the Park brings together 14 areas dedicated to sports and recreation, including:
- multipurpose courts;
- outdoor gym;
- playground;
- running track;
- integrated bike paths;
- Olympic-sized skatepark — the second largest in the country.
Secult emphasizes that all spaces will remain open during the indicated hours, except on Mondays, when each area will undergo inspections and conservation services.

Summer Camp
The City Park's Summer Camp starts this Tuesday (1st), with closed classes for children and teenagers aged 4 to 16 and seniors over 60. There will be ten sports modalities taught by Seel instructors, in two shifts:
Tuesday to Sunday:
Morning: 8 AM – 11:30 AM
Afternoon: 3 PM – 7 PM
After 7 PM, until 10 PM, the park remains open for free use without instructors. On weekends, the operation is from 8 AM to 10 PM. The cultural programming, coordinated by Secult, takes place every Saturday and Sunday in the late afternoon, featuring theater, music, dance, popular manifestations, and storytelling.
