Those interested have until July 4th to register online or in person

The State Secretariat for Racial Equality and Human Rights (SEIRDH) has opened a selection for reserve registration for the EMPODERA+ program (Dignified Work, Education, and Income Generation Program for LGBTQIA+ People). Interested parties have until July 4th to register. This initiative is part of the National Strategy for Dignified Work, Education, and Income Generation for LGBTQIA+ People, developed through a Technical Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship (MDHC).
The EMPODERA+ is a social policy that prepares and supports the LGBTQIA+ community for the job market, aiming for their autonomy. In Pará, the vacancies are for people in situations of social vulnerability residing in the municipalities of Belém, Ananindeua, Benevides, Marituba, and Santa Bárbara do Pará.
In addition to promoting access, retention, and advancement in professional careers for LGBTQIA+ individuals, the program supports the inclusion of these individuals in income-generating activities freely, with guaranteed labor and social security rights, through Solidarity Economy, Cooperativism, and Entrepreneurship, according to the Methodological and Service Guide of the Pilot Project of the Program.
