Mangal das Garças offers free double programming for children this Sunday (29)
The kids who go to the Zoobotanical Park will be able to learn more about the turtles of the Amazon
The Zoobotanical Park Mangal das Garças will hold a special and free program aimed at children this Sunday, June 29, starting at 9 AM, with educational and recreational activities in double dose: the Ecozoo and Ecoarte projects.
This month's Ecozoo will focus on the turtles of the Amazon, such as jabutis, tracajás, and Amazonian turtles. The activity will be led by the environmental technician of Mangal, Beatriz Tavares, and Dr. Brenda Braga from the Animal Reproduction Laboratory at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), who will share knowledge and curiosities about these important animals for the environmental balance of the region.
Ecoarte proposes a playful and creative approach to the same theme, with the participation of the entertainer Mayara, who promises to entertain and teach children in a light and interactive way through a turtle memory game using recyclable materials.
This action is part of the environmental education activities developed by the park and is open to the public.
The projects are promoted by the Government of the State of Pará and the State Secretariat of Tourism, with the execution by the Social Organization Pará 2000, which manages the Zoobotanical Park Mangal das Garças.
The Mangal is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, with free admission.
