Peace Factories celebrate June festivities with culture and fun for the communities
Throughout the month of June, the citizenship complexes of the State Government have special programs for June festivities for families

The São João atmosphere has taken over the Peace Factories. Throughout the month of June, the citizenship complexes of the State Government celebrate the June festivities with special programs for the communities. The Factories of Guamá and Bengui, in Belém, were filled with colors, flavors, and traditions for their traditional arraiais on Wednesday (18).

At the Peace Factory Pe. Bruno Sechi, in Bengui, the June program gathered a large audience. The party featured dance presentations, a country girl contest, as well as games and typical foods.

Resident Luana Martias attended the program and thanked for the initiative. “The party is amazing. This is a welcoming project. Our neighborhood didn’t have a place with programs like this. Now, with the Factory, my daughters and I can participate, it has been wonderful,” said Luana.

Also present at the arraial of the Peace Factory was resident Roberta Santos. She highlighted the importance of the cultural program for the children of the Bengui neighborhood. “I find the party wonderful, especially for the children of the community, as this is a type of entertainment that we don’t see often. Our children need this fun, and the Factory is providing that.”

In the Guamá neighborhood, the June program of the Peace Factory was also a success and provided the community with the opportunity to experience a welcoming and accessible São João. “I found the party very interesting. A fun program that gets better every year,” said resident Josilene Lopes, who participated in the festivities with her daughters.

Cultural appreciation - More than moments of fun, the June programs reinforce the mission of the Peace Factories to strengthen social ties and value popular culture. “The June festivals of UsiPaz value cultural traditions, in addition to promoting leisure, culture, and community coexistence among residents. It is beautiful to see families gathered, from children to the elderly, enjoying São João with safety, joy, and respect,” highlighted the Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga.

Program - The June programs continue throughout the month of June at the Peace Factories. The complete programs can be consulted through the official Instagram @usinasdapaz.
