Seduc participates in the State Meeting of educational planning promoted by the MEC
The expectation is that each municipality and regional office in Pará will develop a ten-year plan aligned with the goals of the new PNE and local needs

In order to ensure a higher quality education in the State, the State Department of Education (Seduc) is participating in the State Meeting of Technical Cooperation, promoted by the Ministry of Education, through the Secretariat of Intersectoral Articulation and Education Systems (Sase/MEC). The event started this Tuesday, 10, and will continue until next Friday, 13, at the Beira Rio Hotel.
The meeting also brought together representatives from municipal education secretariats and technicians from Regional Education Units (UREs), aiming to strengthen the appropriation of educational data and conduct practical workshops on the planning methodology for the construction of new Ten-Year Education Plans, which will guide public educational policies in the next ten years. In addition to promoting the proposal of the New National Education Plan (PNE – PL No. 2.614/2024).
The Deputy Secretary of Network Management and Collaboration Regime of Seduc, Professor Diego Maia, participated in the opening of the event and highlighted Pará's commitment to the collaboration regime between the state and municipalities.
"This meeting is a historic opportunity for us to qualify educational planning throughout the Pará territory. We are collectively and collaboratively building the best Ten-Year Plans in our history, based on data, active listening, and commitment to the quality of public education,” stated the deputy secretary.
The State Meeting is part of a national agenda that began in 2024, when the MEC promoted a National Meeting and five Regional Meetings with the same purpose. The expectation is that, with the technical and methodological support of the PNE Cooperation platform, each municipality and regional office in Pará will develop a ten-year plan aligned with the goals of the new PNE and local needs.
The program will continue until next Friday (13), with formative panels, thematic workshops, and listening moments with the participants.

State Plan – Seduc started, last month, the coordinated actions for the development of the State Education Plan 2026-2035, with the process of listening, diagnosis, and formulation of the guidelines that will guide the educational policy of Pará for the coming years.
Thus, the State advances in mobilizing representative entities and strengthens institutional partnerships that will ensure the realization of the right to quality, inclusive, and equitable education throughout the Pará territory.
The Management Committee, coordinated by Seduc, through the Deputy Secretariat of Management and Collaboration Regime (Searc), is also formed by representatives from Undime-PA (National Union of Municipal Education Directors), Uncme-PA (National Union of Municipal Education Councils), State Education Forum (FEE), and the State Education Council of Pará (CEE).
