On the morning of this Wednesday (11), the Integrated Force Against Organized Crime (FICCO/PA), the Criminal Factions Task Force (GTF/NIP), and the State Narcotics Division (DENARC) launched Operation "Provision" with the aim of executing preventive arrest warrants and home search and seizure orders issued by the Court of the Organized Crime Division of Belém against suspects of being part of a criminal faction.

So far, 14 people have been arrested. The action took place in the municipalities of Belém, Ananindeua, Benevides, Tracuateua, Abaetetuba, Recife/PE, Palhoça/SC, and Blumenau/SC, with the support of the Pará State Social Security Administration (SEAP), the Federal Police in Pará, and the Investigation Support Centers (NAI) of Capanema and Abaetetuba.

The Operations and Special Resources Coordination (CORE), the Homicide Police Station of Capanema, the Igarapé-Miri Police Station, the Canine Unit of the Municipal Guard of Belém, the Civil Police of Santa Catarina, and FICCO/PE also participated.

"During the investigations that supported the measures carried out today, we were able to gather records of members of the criminal organization linked to the supplier framework, containing information such as names, nicknames, dates of joining, areas of operation, positions, and 'selfies'. From this data, copies of official documents of the suspects were obtained, whose photos were submitted to the Prosopographic Expertise and Image Analysis Laboratory of the Civil Police of Pará, which technically confirmed that they were the same people registered by the faction," explained Delegate Vitor Fontes, head of FICCO/PA.

During the searches of the residences, cell phones, a large quantity of drugs, cash, and ammunition were seized. The property owners were arrested in the act.

"Among those arrested in compliance with the arrest warrants, a woman was also arrested in the act for drug trafficking. In her residence, cash, six and a half blocks of pressed marijuana, 94 portions plus half a block of cocaine were found and seized, as well as another individual was arrested in the act for illegal possession of ammunition," said Delegate Davi Cordeiro, head of DENARC.

Another target was also arrested in the act for using a false document. He was found in Abaetetuba and was carrying a counterfeit National Driver's License.

FICCO/PA is a task force composed of the Federal Police, the Civil Police of the State of Pará, and the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat, aimed at carrying out a joint and integrated action in combating organized crime in the State of Pará.
