120 regional entrepreneurs will be showcasing their products

This Sunday, June 8, Estação das Docas in Belém will host another edition of the Art&Chic Fair, which will bring together around 120 local entrepreneurs from author fashion, creative crafts, and regional gastronomy. In a festive June atmosphere and on the eve of Valentine's Day, the event offers a special program for the whole family, with inclusion actions and direct support for the region's creative economy. With free admission, the fair will be open to the public from 12 PM to 10 PM at Warehouse 3 of the tourist complex.

Visitors will be able to find items such as bio-jewelry, various accessories, clothing, footwear, toys, books, stationery, and much more. The cultural program includes performances by singer Paulo Henriques, the Regional Rhythms Group Aracuã, and to bring the festive atmosphere of the June season, the Trio Trilhas da Serra. One of the new features of this edition is the Little Country Miss Contest, with the special participation of children.

According to Chrystiane Nery, the creator and coordinator of the fair, the event is an opportunity for those who wish to shop with purpose, support local businesses, and experience a unique cultural and gastronomic experience.

“With each edition, we aim to develop local businesses and show that this is an extremely important issue. People will be able to acquire regional, authorial, 100% handmade products, among others, within the city itself and in a high-traffic location like Estação das Docas. This stimulates the local economy and promotes the development of the region. In addition, a varied food court with flavors of regional and affectionate cuisine will be available to the public,” she states.

The Art&Chic Fair in Belém has already established itself as one of the main spaces for valuing authorial entrepreneurship in the city, connecting small businesses with an audience that values handmade products, local identity, and conscious consumption. This is the 34th edition of the event, which has already strengthened the work of hundreds of entrepreneurs in the region.

Inclusive Space - As in all editions, the Fair reaffirms its commitment to inclusion and welcoming through its already traditional Inclusive Space. In this edition, the space will feature the talk “Welcoming, Dialogues, and Rights that Support Families in the Neurodiverse Context,” mediated by psychopedagogue Terezinha Ferreira, with participation from speech therapist Sarah Cutrim and lawyer and social worker Sandro Silva.

There will also be a lecture titled “The Role of Occupational Therapy in the Multiprofessional Team,” with occupational therapist Patrícia Regateiro. Additionally, mothers of atypical children will be present showcasing their products philanthropically, reinforcing the fair's proposal for inclusion and empathy.

“The Art&Chic Fair stimulates the creative economy, generates income, values manual work, and brings the public closer to inspiring stories. We are a fair held with affection and purpose,” concludes Chrystiane Nery.
