Amazônia Jazz Band concludes Quermesse Mariana at Praça Santuário in Nazaré
Event at the acoustic shell of the square marked the presentation of the Círio poster

After the presentation of the Círio 2025 poster to the faithful at Praça Santuário, the Amazônia Jazz Band took the stage at the Acoustic Shell and got everyone dancing with regional and national songs in danceable arrangements under the direction of conductor Eduardo Lima.
The Big Band from Theatro da Paz presented an eclectic repertoire, featuring songs in tribute to the Círio de Nazaré and the State, such as "Voando pro Pará" by singer Joelma, concluding the Mariana program.

Public servant Josefa Andrade, who participates every year in the poster presentation, was happy with the AJB show. "I always follow the band; whenever I can, I'm at the theater watching the performances. And watching them after seeing this beautiful poster is wonderful."
"Ao pôr do sol," "Indauê Tupã," and "Luz do mundo" were also part of the repertoire. The show also featured a special appearance by singer Daniel Araújo.

The initiative is from the Government of the State of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Culture (Secult), Theatro da Paz, the Paraense Academy of Music (APM), and the Directorate of the Nazaré Festival (DFN). The master sponsorship is from the Vale Cultural Institute, via the Cultural Incentive Law.
